Please be advised that this online document containing the Asbury Park Property Maintenance Code represents the state of the City’s Ordinances as of the year 2000 and not necessarily as of today.  There may be a number of provisions contained within this document which have not changed since 2000 and which will not be altered at all during the re-codification project.  However, there have been many new Ordinances that have been adopted during the 11 years since 2000, which have revised this document and which will not be reflected in this document as it was scanned in its current format.  Therefore, we cannot guarantee the legitimacy of the information contained in this document with regard to any particular issue and therefore reliance on any particular provision(s) contained therein, without going any further, is at the individual’s own risk.  It is recommended that anyone who wishes to rely on a particular provision of the Code should first contact the City Clerk’s Office to ascertain whether any new Ordinances have been adopted since 2000 which modify the said provision.  Blind reliance on this document is NOT recommended!  With this understanding, however, we feel that the scanning of this document is nevertheless something that will assist our members and the public in general.
